Alton Towers confirms Bluey Roller Coaster

In what is the worst kept secret in theme park history, Alton Towers confirmed yesterday that the replacement for the Postman Pat ride in CBeebies land will be a Bluey-themed roller coaster.

Alton Towers has been busy working on this ride over the last few months including shortening Get Set Go and removing Postman Pat and the buildings from the ride.

In yesterday’s announcement the park confirmed that the “world’s first Bluey-themed ride” (classic Merlin!) would open in Spring 2026 and whilst they didn’t provide any more details the new image shows green track and yellow supports.

What do you think about the new ride? From the plans this looks like it’s set to become the least thrilling coaster in the park!
