Alton Towers to remove The Blade and 2 other attractions

It’s not been a great few years to Alton Towers with budget cuts, terrible ride availability and the introduction of staggered opening hours and it seems this is set to continue. In their first Winter Update posted on their blog yesterday Alton Towers announced the permanent removal of The Blade and 2 other attractions. Read […]

About Mark

Where to start?

I have been visiting theme parks for most of my life, starting with the tiny Fort Fun in Eastbourne back when it had a mine-train coaster and quickly moving onto like likes of Thorpe Park back when the Wicked Witches had a haunt and Chessington World of Adventures when Circus World still existed.

Family holidays were filled with adventures in our caravan as we explored various parks across the UK, including the now-closed American Adventure and Camelot theme parks, Blackpool Pleasure Beach, Alton Towers, and even Oakwood in Wales.

Over the years, my passion for theme parks has only grown, leading me to visit attractions around the globe. With my background in web development, starting this blog felt like a natural progression!

Join me on my theme park adventures

While I don’t currently plan to vlog my trips, I will be sharing photos and offering tips for those looking to explore parks across Europe. My aim is to provide helpful insights as you plan your visits to places like Europa Park, Plopsaland De Panne, Phantasialand, Movie Park Germany, and more!

More About Me

When I’m not conquering roller coasters or coding websites, I enjoy making music, creating tech reviews on YouTube, and savoring a good beer. Expect to see glimpses of these interests in my posts!

Thanks for stopping by! Feel free to connect with me on social media or shoot me an email—I’d love to hear from you!
