Paultons Park submit plans for on-site accommodation

Yesterday, Paultons Park have submitted plans to their local council to build their first on-site accommodation.

The plans show us that the park are planning to build a mix of 2, 3 and 4 bed self-catering lodges in a ‘Scandinavian village’ style which is fitting given they will be situated at the end of the car park and back onto the park where the new Vikings area, expected to open in 2026, will be situated (near the Zamperla disco).

These new lodges will allow for up to 700 guests to stay on-site and will enable Paultons Park to compete with the likes of Legoland, Thorpe Park and Chessington who all already offer accommodation.

The plans show a large lake in the middle and plenty of greenery surrounding the accommodation plus a welcome building, small on-site shop and a restaurant alongside some small entertainment areas. The existing car park will be used for parking.

If approved I think we will see work commence on this really soon with a 2027 opening. It’s great to see Paultons Park continue to grow and despite not being in their family target market it will be a park I will be paying a visit to when Vikings opens!
