Alongside the trailer Alton Towers said:

“Toxicator is ready to whip up a dizzying vortex of fear in the heart of the Forbidden Valley. Hang in suspense and feel the powerful forces at play, spinning you into a whirlwind of excitement and fear. Hearts will pound. Adrenaline will soar.”

This suggests that the ride should be running on a pretty intense setting which will be great.

In true Merlin fashion Toxicator will also be a world’s first as the first top spin to be elevated above ground level which will see it also be the tallest top spin in the world at a record-breaking 78ft high.

We also know that the ride will feature a fountain package on both sides and it’s likely this water will use lighting to make it look green.

Alton Towers haven’t confirmed when it will open but it’s expected to be ready for the start of the season.

A new flat ride has been a long time coming for Alton Towers and they really need to invest in more over the next few years especially with the removal of 3 rides/attractions over the winter period.

How do you feel about Toxicator? Are you looking forward to there being a Top Spin in the UK again?
