Blackpool Pleasure Beach reveals ‘Aviktas’ – Their 2026 Gyro-Swing

Today, Blackpool Pleasure Beach have announced that their new gyro-swing will be called ‘Aviktas’. In a press release the park teased us more about the UK’s largest gyro-swing set to open next year. You can read everything we know so far about the new ride here.

Aviktas will be a massive Gyro Swing ride that combines height, speed, and spins for a truly breathtaking experience. This giant pendulum swings up to 120 degrees and soars to a towering height of 138 feet at its peak.

With room for 40 riders sitting outward and their legs dangling freely, the sensation of flying through the air is nothing short of exhilarating.

While there are other pendulum-style rides in the UK, none match the scale of this one. Take Maelstrom at Drayton Manor, for example—it tops out at around 74 feet, making Aviktas nearly twice as tall and far more intense.
