Walibi Holland Announce Opening Date for Duelling RMC Single Rail Coasters

Walibi Holland have today announced on their social media platforms that their new RMC single rail coasters known as YOY will open on the 5th April 2025.

What is YOY at Walibi Holland?

YOY are a pair of single rail coaster opening this year at Walibi Holland Theme Park. They are manufactured by RMC (Rocky Mountain Construction) and will give riders a choice of ‘Thrill’ or ‘Chill’.

The blue side will duel alongside the green ‘thrill’ side but will feature no inversions, plenty of interactive elements and be as long as the thrill side offering a fun entry level roller coaster with top speeds up to 49.7mph.

The green side will offer riders the chance of ‘thrill’ with a top speed of 51mpg and 6 inversions with G-force’s up to 4.0.

Has YOY started testing yet?

We saw last week the first test run of these two single rail coasters last week and they look like a lot of fun with plenty of interactions and some great elements.

They will also be one of only 3 single rail coasters in Europe, the other one being Mahuka at Walibi Rhône Alpes which opened in 2024.

Is Walibi Holland worth a visit?

With plenty of roller coasters, family attractions and other rides including a madhouse Walibi Holland looks like a park that packs in a lot and whilst I’ve not been yet it’s on the cards for April this year where I hope to catch the new single rail coasters, check out the rest the park has to offer and share my thoughts on the blog.
